Driver

Position Summary

The Driver position is responsible for the transportation and installation of Arsenal Strength product. 

 

Essential Functions

    1. Responsible for transporting Arsenal Strength product from manufacturing plant to the location specified by the customer.
    2. Install product when arrival at the customer’s location.
    3. Provide clear instructions when additional or temporary staff are used to assist in installation.
    4. Assist in loading transport vehicle at the manufacturing plant.
    5. Accurately report travel data such as gas usage, miles, etc. and remain in compliance with federal DOT regulations.
    6. Maintain a clean driving record.
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Maintain 5S in work areas.
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

None

 

Work Environment

This job primarily operates over the road in the United States.  The individual will be required to adhere to all Department of Transportation, individual state, county, and city driving regulations.  This job also operates in a manufacturing environment.  The individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor.

 

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 lbs and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, requiring between 10-14 hours of work per day, Monday through Sunday, as deliveries are scheduled. Position may require work on flexible shifts, additional hours and weekends.

 

Travel

100% travel is required for this position.  Drivers can be away from home for up to 9 days.  Drivers must be able to travel throughout the United States for this position.

 

Education

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Have a valid driver license.

 

Experience

  • Driving 26-foot truck preferred.
  • Basic reading skills required.
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written directions.
  • Must be able to read technical drawings and diagrammed instructions.

 

Skills

  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
